Partner. Ms. Khuong practises labour, employment and public law. She advises companies in various fields on labour relations and health and safety matters and represents them before the Commission de la santé et de la sécurité du travail, the Commission des lésions professionnelles, the Commission des relations du travail (Labour Relations Board), the Canada Employment Insurance Commission, grievance arbitrators and courts of law. Notably, she advises them regarding the negocaition and drafting of employment agreements, confidentiality agreements and non-compete agreements and the management of complaints concerning the dismissal of employees. She also advises them regarding collective dismissal and the management of employment injuries.
In addition, she advises public organizations and private companies on access to information and privacy issues, and represents them before the Commission d’accès à l’information (Access to Information Board). She is an IAPP accredited instructor and, as such, is frequently asked to give training courses to the staff of public organizations and private companies, including ministries and school boards, on acces to information and protection of personal information.
